Solar Plastics, Inc. uses the rotational molding process to produce:

• Hollow, seamless plastic parts which are partially or totally enclosed
• Products range in size from 1 to 10' in diameter
• Annual part volumes range from 100 to 50,000

All New Projects follow the following flow of development:

Product Development- A 2-D or 3-D drawing will be converted to our PRO-E software for solid modeling. Pattern/Mold- A pattern is milled from high density wood, epoxy resin composite boards, or other materials. After the pattern has been approved, the mold is produced using the features of the pattern. Production Process Development- Based on the specifications for color, wall thickness, and material, a process for producing your part will be developed. Inspected and documented sample parts will be provided for approval. Production- Once the sample parts are approved, production of ordered parts may begin. Value Added Engineering- From decoration to complete assembly of specified components, Solar Plastics can provide all of the necessary post-mold operations required to provide a complete part.
